The Heart of England Language School, which was set up by Louisa Enock at her home in the south of the town in 1993, has this week moved into a new premises in Hamilton Terrace, which will allow the business to offer more lessons.

Since opening its doors, the school - which is now run by Louisa and her sister Charlotte Badger - has taught more than 8,000 students from countries as far flung as Guinea Bissau, Venezuala and Japan between the ages of four and 74.

The school’s clients include high profile businesses, including EON, JLR, Peugeot and Daimler.

Louisa, who taught English in Japan for several years before establishing the school, said: “July and August are always busy months for us and our new building couldn’t have opened at a better time. We are about to welcome groups of young people from Europe, Asia and South America.”

With a team of 15 professional teachers, the company aims to build confidence and maximizing students’ opportunities to learn English.

Louisa said: “A Leamington base is a huge bonus as our students, who are often staying with local families, love the town for its history and architecture.

“Our central location and excellent transport links enable them to go sight-seeing easily at weekends and optimise their stay.”

The school will officially open at its new premises on Monday. Anyone interested in attending or finding out more about courses - which can be arranged as private tuition or group classes - call Charlotte on 311375.
