Unattended candle almost led to blaze
Firefighters were called to a house in Moreton Street, Leamington, on Sunday evening at which a candle had been left unattended.
Crews from Leamington and Southam attended the scene with one officer commenting that the incident could have been significantly worse had it not been reported at the time and stressing the importance of ensuring any lit candles are extinguished before leaving a property.
