Inspector Daf Goddard said: “Further enquiries are being made to establish why the item was in the vehicle but there was no danger to the public at any point during this incident.”

“We would like to thank everyone for their patience while we managed this incident.”

People were evacuated from businesses in the area but no residential properties were affected by the incident.
