Update: M40 near Warwick still closed following multi-vehicle crash
A section of motorway near Warwick is still closed this afternoon (Wednesday) following a crash involving a lorry and cars this morning.
The M40 is partially closed between junctions 15 and 16 as work continues to recover the lorry, which had been fully laden with batteries, and repair the central reservation.
The crash, which occured at around 7.45am, also involved a number of cars.
One driver suffered slight injuries in the collision.
There are currently two lanes open northbound and one southbound but the road is expected to open fully early this evening.
