Update: Several police cars called to Leamington's Parade to deal with suspected shoplifter - but no arrests were made

Several police cars were called to deal with a suspected shoplifter on Leamington's Parade.

Crowds of people saw officers stopping outside the House of Fraser at about 1pm.

We have spoken to Warwickshire Police to find out more - they said it involved theft of alcohol from a shop. No arrests were made at this point.

The Parade was closed for a bit - but the Parade was reopened 15 minutes later after police dispersed.
