WCS Care, which runs ten homes in Warwickshire, and the county’s Age UK branch are hoping to improve residents’ quality of life through the project, during which the volunteers will work in pairs. Training and expenses will be provided.

WCS’s chief executive Christine Asbury said: “Our intention is for the volunteers to blend in and use their own life experience to relate to the residents’ perspective of life in our homes.”
