Warwick and Leamington MP Chris White visits new college site that will help to boost apprenticeships

During National Apprenticeship Week, MP Chris White visited the site of the new Trident College facilities, which will be home to 285 new advanced and 253 higher apprenticeships once it opens later this year.

The existing facility at Warwick Trident College - part of the Warwickshire Colleges Group- provides training for a number of local companies and the expansion is indicative of growing demand. Advanced engineering training is also provided to Jaguar Land Rover and Rolls Royce.

Mr White met with John Vickery, estates director, and Matt Ellis, design build co-ordinator for Deeley Construction, to see the progress of the project. As co-chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Manufacturing, Mr White said he was “passionate” about the sector.
