Warwick cheerleaders win trophies from national championships
Warwick-based cheerleading squad RLS Elite brought home 14 trophies after taking part in the National Cheerleading Championships in Manchester.
As a result some members of the team - aged from four to 29 - have been selected to take six routines to a European contest in July.
Head coach Kim Stevenson said: “This is a great honour for RLS. We’ve been training really hard all year in preparation for this competition and all the hard work and dedication from everyone in this squad has paid off with being given these six routines to show at the European championships.
“As it happens that’s back in the UK this year, although we have been to Italy twice for previous championships.”
