Warwick Library reopens at council headquarters

Warwick Library has reopened today after being moved in order to save money.

Warwickshire County Council moved the service from Barrack Street to Shire Hall as part of plans to save £2 million from its £7.4 million library and information service budget.

Speaking on the social networking website twitter, Warwick Mayor Cllr Trudy Offer said: “Warwick Library is open and lovely.

“It’s back and has been missed.”
