Warwick patients get to meet Prime Minister
PATIENTS at Warwick Hospital received a surprise visit from a rather high profile couple on Saturday.
The Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha spent some time at the Lakin Road site, following its achievement of winning leading healthcare benchmaking company CHKS’s UK’s Most Improved Hospital award.
As well as speaking to nurses and consultants, Mr Cameron met patients and spoke to the hospital’s chief executive and chairman.
