Warwick pub named in national awards

Emma and Steve Jury, who flew back from New Zealand to save The Cape of Good Hope in Warwick after previous tenants went bankrupt, have reached the final six in the Great British Pub Awards.

The attractive watering hole, just off the Lower Cape, has been named in the “Best Turnaround” category on the national competition.

Emma said: “We’re delighted both for ourselves and our nephew, Steve Reynolds, who now manages the pub for us.”
