Warwick schools celebrate Burns Night
Bag pipes were played to youngsters from Emscote Infant School to welcome them to a special Burns Night party in Warwick.
The pupils were invited to enjoy an event to mark the annual celebration of the life and works of Scottish poet Robert Burns, which was held by All Saints Junior School in Nelson Avenue.
The children danced to The Gay Gordons - a Scottish country song - sang Auld Lang Syne and watched with delight as a haggis was ‘piped in’ by piper Joe Moore.
Actual Burns Night is celebrated mainly in Scotland on or around January 25 and took place last Saturday.
