Warwick view of Christian democracy

Kevin McHale, secretary of the friends’ group, has invited recently retired Conservative MEP Malcolm Harbour to talk on the subject of whether Christian democracy is still at the heart of Europe?

Mr McHale said: “This will not be party political, but with EU membership having such a high priority in the run-up to the General Election, and with the recent pronouncements by Pope Francis, it will be interesting to hear the views of this long-serving and highly respected Christian MEP.”

The talk, followed by a chance for questions, will start at 7.30pm and is free of charge.

It is in addition to the Evensong series of church lectures announced last week and due to start on February 22.
