The popular festival started from humble beginnings in 1979 and now attracts performers and guests from all over the UK and beyond.

Organisers said this year is set to be one of the best yet with tickets now on sale to get interest rolling in the town.

“Warwick’s folk festival of the very best in traditional and contemporary folk arts,” they said.

“In 25 years, the festival has built up a reputation as one of the best in the country for its quality of entertainment and its excellent organisation.

“Catch their energetic displays around the town centre throughout the weekend, and don’t miss their spectacular mass procession as it winds its way through the town on Saturday – always a Warwick highlight.”
