Warwick's Peru volunteer project gets Rotary boost
Warwick Rotarians have given a donation to help families in Peru after a talk at its annual International Understanding Evening.
Members heard from Juany and Peter Murphy from Warwick-based, Otra Cosa Network which provides help for impoverished children through volunteering.
The non-profit organisation provides projects dedicated to improving literacy in shanty towns, and supports other charitable groups in the area.
The network last year also encouraged more than 200 volunteers to spend time in Peru and take Spanish classes.
