Following the allegation he was suspended from his position in South Warwickshire on September 9, 2014.

Supt Mark Loader, head of professional standards at Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police, said:“The misconduct hearing found that the behaviour of the special constable fell below the standards we expect from our officers and staff and amounted to a breach of the standards of professional behaviour, namely honesty and integrity and discreditable conduct. This fell outside the expectations made clear in our Code of Ethics and it is for this reason he was dismissed.”

The Special Constable had completed one year and four months’ service.

The outcome of the hearing is subject to the normal appeals process.
