Water bills in Warwickshire could be frozen

Severn Trent, which manages the water and sewerage systems across Warwickshire, has announced a proposed price freeze in 2015.

But the company also wants to spend more than £3.2 billion on improvements, including reducing leakages, supply interruptons and the number of homes flooded and improving the river quality.

The company’s plans have been developed after consulting with more than 15,000 customers and 160 stakeholder-representative bodies.

Severn Trent’s chief executive Tony Wray said: “Over the next five years, we plan to deliver better value, better services and a healthier environment.”
