Westgate Primary School invites young sporting star to arena opening

County squash-playing champ Jessica Brazier was invited to return to her old school, Westgate Primary in Warwick, to officially open the new sports arena.

Not only is Jess the Under 13 girls’ squash champion and ranked 33rd nationally, she is also a very good football player.

Naturally head teacher Lynne Daniels and Roger Smith, chairman of the governors, could think of nobody more suitable to open their £30,000 multi-games facilities following a full grant from Sport England.
