“The organisers are proud to arrange the entire event without the assistance of the major media companies and radio stations, like the larger towns in the district and as usual we are sponsored by an array of local companies and generous individuals.

“We have recruited a top magician called John Gordon who is a Member of the Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star and they have also awarded him their much coveted ‘Silver Wand’.

“John will be performing 2 live shows along with impromptu magic in the crowd.

“There will also be a special visit from Father Christmas.”

Sideshows will include fairground rides and attractions, bouncy castles and the usual selection of stalls for organisations and charities, including a bottle tombola, and raffle stall.

There will be a large screen displaying images of people and places in Whitnash through the ages.

Representatives from Leamington FC will switch on the lights at 6pm.
