Why was this caravan in the Leam

A COURIER reader sent in this photograph of a caravan which was dumped in the River Leam on or around December 27.

It is believed the caravan may have been pushed into the river from around the Edmondscote Road side of the river and had drifted towards the Leam Road side, about 200 yards down from the tip in Princes Drive.

After two or three days a tractor was used to tow the caravan out of the river.

The reader said it looked as if it was still in use before it was pushed in the river.
