Wolston golf club helps children get into the swing of things

Wolston-based Brandon Wood Golf Course and Club has been recognised as a key learning destination by Children’s University, a scheme which awards children aged five to 14 for participating in learning activities outside of the school day. Children taking part in the scheme are given a ‘Passport to Learning’ which encourages them to earn credits by learning new skills and participating in extra-curricular activities available at venues – called ‘learning destinations’ - across the country.
Brandon Wood is the first golf club in Coventry and Warwickshire to join the network of 90 Children’s University recognised destinations, giving school children in the area more access to a range of golfing activities.
