Woman carrying offensive weapon, drunken behaviour and fraud recorded in Rugby Town Centre
Warwickshire Police has released last month’s crime figures for Rugby Town Centre and there were 36 crimes recorded.
There were 19 thefts recorded, of which six people were detained.

Hide AdSix incidents of anti-social behaviour were recorded, of which four arrests were made - three for drunk and disorderly.
There were 4 violence-related offences in the town, resulting in two arrests.
Three incidents of fraud were recorded, of which two arrests were made.
The remaining crimes included one burglary, one concern incident, one domestic and one suspicious circumstance, which led to the arrest of a female for possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

Hide AdIn February, there were a number of purse thefts reported in Rugby Town Centre.
Police have reminded the public to secure personal items and make sure their bag is closed and kept on their person at all times.
Purse bells are available at Rugby Police Station if required.
