Work to tackle web child abuse continues in Warwickshire

Work on restricting access to online pornography and images of child abuse is continuing in Warwickshire, while national measures are likely to be introduced.

The Government’s proposals also include blacklisting extreme search terms and criminalising the possession of pornography depicting rape.

Detective Inspector Nigel Jones of Warwickshire Police said: “The new measures will make it harder for abusers to groom and exercise control of children online.”
