Yellow weather warning for Warwickshire

THE Met Office has issued a ‘yellow’ weather warning for heavy rain across Warwickshire between today (Wednesday) and Friday morning.

The warning means that people should be aware of severe weather and check the forecast regularly, expect delays on the roads and the possibility of events being cancelled.

The Environment Agency has also issued a flood warning for the River Dean at Charlecote. People living in the area should be prepared to act on their flood plan, prepare a list of essential items they will need in case of flooding and listen to local radio stations for up-to-date information on water levels and weather.
