Youth arrested in connection with canalside robbery
The youth is due to appear before magistrates in Leamington today (Friday 13 April).
The charge relates to an incident on Wednesday (April 11) in which a man walking along the towpath of the Grand Union Canal near Emscote Road bridge was approached and robbed of his phone by two men.

Hide AdA second man, also aged 17 years, was also arrested nearby. He has been questioned in relation to the theft and has been bailed pending further police enquiries.
A third youth, aged 16 years, was arrested early today (Friday April 13). He is also being questioned in connection with canalside robberies in the Leamington area.
