Zoo animals are brought to Castel Froma

Snakes, chinchillas and even a skunk from the Petwise Zoo in Derbyshire were also part of the event at Castel Froma care home in Lillington Road.

The event was organised by activities coordinator Stephanie Jones as part of the centre’s focus on enriching the lives of residents through a variety of leisure activities as part their care.

As well as onsite activities, including cooking clubs, musical afternoons, yoga, crafts and visiting entertainers, residents from the centre also enjoy day trips to garden centres and on narrow boats.
