On the Fortnite website, it explains that the monthly Crew Pack will always contain a new outfit with at least one accessory, such as a glider, pickaxe or emote, with all items exclusive to Fortnite Crew members.

This means that Crew Packs and the items they contain are only available to Fortnite Crew subscribers - previously released items may be available again to Crew members at a later date, but they will never be sold to non-Crew members or given away to non-Crew members.

When the service launches next month, players will be able to get their hands on an all-new exclusive Galaxia Outfit and Style, as well as the Cosmic Llamacorn Pickaxe and Fractured World Back Bling.

If you have already purchased the current season’s Battle Pass and instead want to sign up to Fortnite Crew, 950 V-Bucks will be refunded to your account.

The Battle Bundles have been replaced by a bundle of 25 levels which cost 1,850 V-Bucks, which is around £10. These are only available once per season, and only if you’re level 75 of lower.

Fornite Crew will cost £9.99 a month in the UK, and $11.99 a month in the US.

How to buy the Fortnite Crew subscription

The Fortnite Crew subscription can be purchased directly from the Item Shop or Battle Pass purchase screen.

Fortnite explains that your subscription will be associated with the platform you purchased it on until it is cancelled, and it is not transferable.

“Be sure to choose the platform (e.g Xbox, Playstation, Switch) you purchase your subscription on carefully,” Fortnite advises.

You’ll be able to access the items you receive from your subscription across different platforms, but the V-Bucks you receive may not be redeemable on other platforms. You must log into your primary platform each monthly subscription period to access the subscription content.

You can also cancel your Fortnite Crew subscription at any time, you’re not bound into a contract.

After cancelling, your membership will remain effective until the end of your current billing period, and you’ll get to keep all of your previously awarded Battle Passes, V-Bucks and Crew Packs.

When will the subscription be available?

The subscription will be available to purchase from 2 December, coinciding with the beginning of Fortnite’s next season, Chapter Two, Season Five.
