Hide AdOn Friday afternoon (7 Feb), a tweet posted from Facebook’s twitter account read: “Hi, we are OurMine. Well, even Facebook is hackable but at least their security is better than Twitter. To improve your account’s security, contact us…"
The hacking group managed to hack the Twitter accounts of all Facebook companies, including Messenger and Instagram, leaving the two tech rivals to cooperate in restoring their cyber security.
This isn’t the first time that OurMine has attacked a notable platform - last week it hacked the NFL and ESPN social media accounts.

Back in 2018, due to a significant data breach, the accounts of 29 million Facebook users were hacked.
But it seems with these hackers, yes, your private accounts are safe.
Hackers often target large companies and hack their security just to show a potential employer what they are capable of, and this seems to be the case with OurMine.

Both social media giants claim the problem is now resolved and the accounts are safe.
