This time, though, he’ll be exchanging the hardships of the jungle for the comforts of home as he offers viewers a guided tour around his opulent hometown, Sandbanks.

Redknapp will also be joined by a few famous friends for easy-going summertime adventures.

Here’s everything you need to know about the new show.

What is Harry Redknapp's Sandbanks Summer about?

The four-part ITV series will explore life in Sandbanks, the upmarket peninsula where Harry Redknapp has resided for the last two decades.

It is a small area in Dorset which crosses the mouth of Poole Harbour on the English Channel.

The neighbourhood’s seafront location, as well as the limited space available, has led to it becoming one of the most exclusive, and most expensive parts of the UK.

Sandbanks also boasts the fourth highest land value in the world by area, with its 850-feet enjoying a combined value of £93 million.

The exclusive area is also home to Harry’s son, Jamie, as well as Scottish football legend Graeme Souness and TV star Karl Pilkington.

Viewers will be given a tour of the local attractions, including a camping trip on Brownsea Island as well as a visit to both the medieval festival at Corfe Castle and the Sandbanks Beach Polo Tournament.

They will also get an intimate look at the luxurious home Redknapp purchased back in 2015 for a reported £4 million. The massive property extends across some 6,738 square feet.

Those interested in luxury properties will also get to scope out a £5 million penthouse in the same area during an episode in which Redknapp accompanies fellow footballer-turned-TV-star Neil “Razer” Ruddock to a viewing.

Who will be appearing on it?

As well as Neil Ruddock, Redknapp will be joined on the show by a host of other famous figures from the world of football and beyond.

High-pitched funnyman Joe Pasquale, who also managed to weather the jungle’s challenges on ITV’s hit reality show, will accompany the two of them to view the penthouse.

Ruddock, Pasquale and Redknapp will then try their hands at archery and sword fighting over at Corfe Castle.

The trio will then trundle over to Bournemouth to take in an air show.

Elsewhere, Redknapp’s fellow former footballers Chris Kamara and John Barnes will join him on a seafaring journey as they try to get to grips with a very different sport – powerboat racing.
