These were the 15th and 16th medals Murray has won at major championships in the last 11 years, including golds in the 2000 and 2008 Paralympics.

His final major championships will be the 2012 Paralympics in London providing he is selected.

Murray, who lives in Leamington, said: “I was disapointed I didn’t get a gold this time but I’m pleased to come away with two medals

“I’ve always said that London would be where I would like to finish and my world ranking should stay in place going into the event.”
