Warwick ABC boxer was belle of the ball
Bella Madden from Warwick ABC was belle of the ball at the club’s first ever boxing show at the Leamington Assembly on Saturday night.
Boxing durable and tenacious Sarah Mitchell from the steel town of Corby in Northamptonshire, Madden started the first round at high speed and it looked as though her opponent might be swept away.
But as the round developed Mitchell began to fight back giving Madden plenty of trouble.
The second and third rounds followed the same pattern with Madden always dominating and taking a unanimous points decision despite Mitchell’s work rate and resilience.
