The hosts had a chance early on with Anit Chudasama robbing the last defender for a one-on-one, only to be denied by an alert keeper.

Khalsa replied five minutes later from their first short corner, with Aaron Nagra converting after fine stick work from Sav Lall.

Gurminder Ghattaura and Dave Harris were linking up well and causing problems for the Deeside defence, but the hosts were forced to wait until the second half to get their noses in front.

Harris came close to doubling his tally from a short corner as Khalsa dictated the pace of the game and they were rewarded with a goal from Chudasama after a Jack Wells assist.
