Wynn-Evans’ burst proves in vain as Warwick’s batting fails

Hide AdTom Cooper and Lee Watkinson shared a partnership of 35 for the fourth wicket but once they were dismissed in quick succession the innings quickly subsided as Warwick were bowled out for 85.
Warwick 2nds slipped to a four-wicket defeat at home to Bedworth.
Having lost the toss, Warwick were invited to bat and started well as opener Owen Griffiths struck 48.
Griffiths shared a stand of 50 for the third wicket with Bharathwaj Vasudevan (32) and skipper Tom Austin added a quickfire 25 not out as the innings closed on 161 for seven.

Hide AdBedworth lost an early wicket in reply but Alan Iles (68) and Matthew Plant (31) put the visitors in a strong position.
Plant’s dismissal allowed Warwick to make inroads but despite Austin’s three for 65, Bedworth claimed the win with four wickets and three overs remaining.
Jamieson Norton scored an unbeaten 39 as Warwick 3rds claimed a 32-run win over Solihull Blossomfield.
Norton took his side to 143 for nine and also claimed the final wicket as Solihull were dismissed for 111.
Joe Poole and Druv Dhasoor both claimed four wickets apiece.
