Doyle delivers another two records to round off year

The Balsall Common endurance athlete beat the Guinness world record for the most fitness circuit jumping jacks in a minute, achieving 58 while carrying an 80lb backpack.

After a ten-minute break he then attempted the Registry of World Record holders’ challenge for the most full contact punches and kicks above knee level carrying an 85 lb backpack.

Doyle completed 89 punches and 57 kicks to take his career fitness endurance challenge records to 311 and he said there is no chance of him easing up just yet.

“It has been a tough and challenging year,” said Doyle who currently holds 214 records.

“However, my training team and Jim Morsley have pushed me all the way, plus the support from the general public has been tremendous.

“I am aiming to push myself further and harder to achieve more titles in 2014.”
