Folkard brings curtain down on a fine 2013 with Marrakesh success
Naomi Folkard clinched gold last weekend in the first stage of the Indoor World Cup in Marrakesh.

Folkard beat Russian Tatiana Segina 6-4 in the final to move to the top of the points table for the four-leg series.
Folkard, who is self-funded, will not be able to go to the next leg in Singapore next month.

However, the third leg is to be held, conveniently, in Telford in January, and she will be going to the fourth and final leg in Las Vegas in February.
Folkard said: “It has been a really good year for me, with some great results.
“Losing official funding after the London Olympics has made life very hard, but still I have been able to compete with the world’s best archers.”
