HRI Harbury 2 Warwick United 0

A frantic start to the game and some Early balls in behind the Harbury defence caused problems in the first few minutes but Ben Tomes starting after last week’s man of match display covered well.

Brett Ellard with Harbury’s first chance pulled wide after only three minutes. The game settled down and Harbury continued to threaten the Warwick goal with Cahill, Walsh and Smith all missing chances.

On twenty minutes Brett Ellard swung in a delightful corner which was met by brother Aaron sliding in at back post to open the scoring. Not giving in Warwick pressed And some great work by their winger to swing in the cross met by United striker, only for HRI keeper Roland Barnes to dive to his right and tip away for a corner.

Cahill and man of match Max lambert both creating chances for the home side but they couldn’t increase their lead. Warwick continued to threaten on the counter attack until a sin bin put them down to 10 men. The second half continued in the same vein. More bright play from Harbury and chances missed, United keeper making saves to keep his side in the game.

Another corner this time by Tom Jones found Kieran Walsh’s head on 52 and the score was 2-0. The game continued with Harbury creating chance after chance and Warwick a threat on the counter, both sides missing chances. Harbury veteran midfielder Chris ‘twinkle toes’ Lanigan came on for the last 25 minutes bringing some great touches to the game, using his shoulder drop move to beat two United midfielders on half way and set Harbury through again. A good game of football with new side Warwick deserving at least a goal from the game. HRI Harbury go into the hat for the next round.

Khalsa Reserves 0 Ettington Rovers 2

Two first half goals from Jordan Pearce and Mark Withers were enough for Ettington here to progress.

Leamington Hib's 12 (twelve) Whitnash Town 1

A last ten minutes consolation from Luca Cefaliello was the Whitnash reward here as Hib's gave their new League opposition short shrift. Hat Tricks for Connoll Farrell, Jack Marsden and Conor Smith. Singles from Ash Kitchen, Josh Tiff and Dan Turner. Hib's Progress.

Midland Rovers 0 Kenilworth Wardens 4

Fusilier 3 Balsall and Berkswell 6

A Jonathon Ley hat-trick here. An Alex Emms brace, and a single from Ruben Oliveira were enough for the Hornets here and they go into the hat for the next round draw.

Kenilworth Royal Oak 3 Kineton Sports and Social Club 3

A hat-trick for William Harte for Royal Oak, but his three were cancelled out by a brace from Robert Herdman and one from his brother Brayden. That's how it finished after ninety minutes so off to penalty kicks. Kineton won the Spot kicks 3 - 5 and progress into the next round.

Minds Matter 1 Cubbington FC 6

A Jordan Dance strike after seventy five minutes was little consolation here for Minds Matter as Cubbington had taken off Charlie Faulkner by then, but he's already scored five goals! Ben Rowan added a sixth on the hour mark. Cubbington progress into the next round.
