Fife’s double helps leaders to edge past spirited Racing Club

The visitors broke the deadlock in the 40th minute when good approach play from Sam Bell allowed Fife to fire past Ryan Bennett.
The introduction of Richard Allen after the break livened up Brocton and they doubled their lead thanks to Bell.
Two-nil quickly became three when a mix-up in the Racing Club defence allowed Fife to convert Bell’s cross.

Hide AdHowever, despite the deficit, Warwick regained their composure and were rewarded when Jordan Cullaine-Liburd scored at the second attempt after a forceful run from the right-back.
With Racers threatening a comeback, Brocton boss John Berks sent on experienced heads in Ben Harrison and Paul McMahon to see out time and help the Badgers claim the three points.
Racing Club travel to face Bromsgrove Sporting in the league tomorrow before a trip to Nuneaton Griff in the Birmingham Midweek Challenge Cup on Wednesday evening.
