Kingham brings in Easterlow as his number two

Kenilworth Town boss Kev Kingham has strengthened his coaching staff with the appointment of Scott Easterlow as his number two.

Easterlow previously had a brief spell as assistant manager to Ryan Cranton at Racing Club Warwick.

Town will return to the Midland Combination this season after a year in the Stratford Alliance and ahead of the Division Two kick-off on August 4, Kingham has arranged a string of tough warm-up games.

Wednesday night’s 2-1 defeat to Coventry Copsewood got the preparations under way and Town entertain Alvis at Warwick University tomorrow (3pm).

Further clashes have been arranged against Coventry Sphinx, Redditch United, Nuneaton Griff, Racing Club Warwick and Whitnash Town, with the trip to Townsend Meadow for the Castle Cup taking place on Saturday July 28.

Meanwhile, off the field, work is expected to be finished on the changing rooms in time for the start of the season, with the completion of the new clubhouse not far behind.
