Leamington’s resolve gives Holleran a bit of a Rush
Brakes returned to the top of the Southern Premier League on Saturday with a 2-0 win over Cirencester Town and then followed it up with a 3-0 midweek success over Bedworth in the Red Insure Cup.
“It was a good little bounce-back from us,” said Holleran. “After a couple of difficult league games at home it was good to see the players’ resolve.”

Hide AdBrakes have a chance for further cup progress tomorrow when they entertain Rushall Olympic in the second qualifying round of the FA Trophy.
Rushall sit a point above Barwell - Leamington’s opponents in the previous round - in the Northern Premier League Premier Division table.
“They’re a typical northern team in that they are strong and physical with a sprinkling of quality,” said former Pics boss Holleran.
“It will be a tough ask but we’re looking to get to the first round.”
Richard Taundry is a slight doubt for Brakes tomorrow after feeling his groin tighten in midweek, while latest signing Joe Halsall is cup-tied.
