Radford romp to victory in Sunny Dhillon trophy game
Radford Semele lifted the Sunny Dhillon Memorial Trophy with an emphatic 6-1 win over rivals Stockton on Saturday.
The match has been held for the past four years as part of the Sunny Dhillon Memorial Day, which pays tribute to the former Radford player who died unexpectedly aged 25 in 2008..
Sunny’s younger brother Nick scored twice for Radford while Stockton’s scorer was an eight-year-old substitute.
A three-mile fun run, held as part of the event, was won by Ben Kruze in 18mins 40 seconds.
