Southam United will be looking to mount a challenge for the title after a season of re-building, which saw them finish 10th in the league and lift the Coventry Telegraph Challenge Cup.

After using 39 players throughout the season, manager Luke Fogarty had a settled squad of 20 by the end and he is expecting most to re-sign when the window opens on 1 July.

Apart from Leigh Phillips who will be doing pre-season training at Stratford Town and James Hardie who is off to university,

Fogarty has spoken to all the others that he wants to keep and is also hopeful of adding some new faces, particularly a proven goalscorer to boost an attack that scored just 43 goals in last season’s league campaign.
