Garanto has got plenty of disciplines on busy weekend of triathlons

The event consisted of a 1900m swim, 85k bike and 21k run, with Garanto completing it in a time of 4hr 24min 37sec.

Clubmate Daniel Fleming was 618th in 6:28:37.

Despite having completed a half-ironman the previous day, Garanto lined up for the Daventry Sprint Triathlon on Sunday, completing the 400m swim, 20k bike and 5k run in 61:25 for fourth overall.

Fellow Strider James Browne was ninth in 64:13, with Doug Rattray (1:21:09) 23rd and James Stacey (1:27:21) 176th.

Dawn Clark completed a busy weekend for Striders by completing the middle distance Cotswold Classic Triathlon in 5:25:31 for 42nd lady.
