Gulliver leads England to international glory

Trina Gulliver led England’s women to British International success at Glenrothes in Fife last weekend.

Skipper Gulliver averaged 22.77 as she beat Chris Savvery 3-0 in the 4-2 defeat of Wales and then edged out Lynn Cowen as Scotland were routed 6-0.

England claimed a clean sweep in the tournament with their men, boys and girls also claiming victories.

Leamington’s Warwickshire Superleague player Mark McGeeney claimed the man-of-the-match award in the men’s 7-5 success over Scotland after averaging 34.25 in his 3-2 win over Gary Stone (33.87).
