Horne honoured to be part of a great Great Britain pursuit squad

After being left out of the qualifying ride at the Lee Valley VeloPark in London, Horne was brought in to replace Laura Trott as Great Britain cruised into the final thanks to a comfortable victory over the United States.
The Kenilworth rider retained her place for the final, with Trott returning at the expense of Joanna Rowsell.

“It’s a huge honour,” said Horne when asked what it’s like to join such as successful unit. “You get goose-bumps on the start line. It’s incredible, especially with the atmosphere here and the crowd.”
