In-form Poole Dashes to victory
Finishing an impressive eighth overall, Poole completed the challenging course in a new personal best of 40:45.
Mark Urbanowski led Spa Striders home, taking fifth place in 38:02.

Hide AdHe was followed by Barbara Gunter (49:56), Patrick Recker (53:04) and Catherine Shephard (58:56).In the two-lap 20k race, Rod Goodwin prepared for Sunday’s Shakespeare Half Marathon by venturing a mile from home to run an evenly paced race, finishing in 1:38:33.
Kenilworth team-mate Neil Smith, meanwhile, finished in 1:36:41.
The Raceways event raised more than £1,000 for the Kids Run Free charity.
