
He achieved the top score for the team at the recent Home International Tournament against shooters from Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Jersey and the Isle of Mann.
Over the two-day competition, held at Bisley National Shooting Centre, Marsden shot a total of 144 from 150 rounds which left him just one point adrift of the overall winner.
Coached by his dad Nick, Marsden, who also represents Warwickshire, took up the sport two years ago.
He said: “It’s all about focus and practice by repetition.”
