A quartet of the world’s most famous players have been united for the inaugural Jewson Warwickshire Masters, which will be held in Leamington on Tuesday April 23.

Dutch ace Raymond van Barneveld and double world champion Adrian ‘Jackpot’ Lewis will be joined by legends Eric ‘the Crafty Cockney’ Bristow and Andy ‘The Viking’ Fordham.

Ticket-holders will see Bristow and Fordham, who have also added reality TV fame to their darts prowess, clash first before Lewis and Barney hit the oche to play for the evening’s title over 21 legs.

Alex Surrey, general manager of Jewson’s Leamington branch, believes it is a colossal line-up.

He said: “You’d do well to see a stronger darting line-up for an exhibition and we cannot wait.

“Adrian Lewis has won two of the last three world titles and Barney is probably the most popular man in the sport - millions are now watching their matches on TV.

“Couple that with the fact that Eric and Andy are both household names thanks not only to their darts skills but for their reality TV stints, and it will be an amazing night.”

The event will run from 7pm to 11pm with tickets, priced at £25, available from The Assembly box office.
