Leamington fighting fit for next campaign

Leamington have teamed up with Adam Preece Personal Training to ensure all their players are in tip-top condition for the new season.

In an innovative new scheme, club and county player Preece has drawn on his professional capacity as a personal trainer to develop specific positional training programmes which will be undertaken in the club’s fully equipped gym.

The players will ‘buddy’ up to ensure the hard work and motivation is maintained and will have to text the results to coach Alan Roberts, who will monitor their progress.

Preece will be on hand at gym sessions to demo the bespoke programmes and instruct all participants, ensuring all players achieve the best possible results.

Around 30 players have already signed up for the new training opportunity, which is available to both exisitng and potential new players.

As well as this initiative, Leamington have already started preparation for the new season.

Touch rugby takes place on Tuesdays at 7pm and pre-season training is scheduled to begin Tuesday July 5.
