Leamington Netball Club holds tournament in memory of coach
The tournament, in which Leamington’s two team finished third and fourth and Newcastle were overall winners, was open to teams from all over the country to give them the opportunity to try out their squads ahead of the new season.
Leamington, who play their home games at Moorefields, are the only club in the area to have a national team.

Hide AdThey also field a Regional West Midlands team, who were promoted to Division 1 last season, and five teams in the Coventry and Warwickshire league.
The flourishing Junior Club has two representative teams in ages of U12, U13, U14 and U16 and they won all their respective leagues last season.
The club also has squads playing in the Regional league at U14 and U16 levels.
