Cotswold Express heads the Masters of Midshires entries

The Midshires Grasstrack Club are holding their annual Master of Midshires event at Leamington MCC’s victory field at Ashorne on Sunday May 12.

There will be seven different classes featuring many of the country’s top riders, with the Cotswold Express Tim Nobes topping the list in the solos along with Danny Warwick and Paul Cooper and youngsters Josh Dingle and James Shanes.

The reigning British Masters champions Mark Cossar and passenger Carl Blyth head the 24 entries in the 1,000cc sidecar event, with Yorkshire trio Rob Bradley, Rod Winterburn and Paul Whitelam also hoping to take the title.

Practice is at 11am and it is tapes up for the first race at 1pm.

Entry is £10 for adults, with children going free.
